UX/UI Designer

what do we expect from our brand new designer?

At Aaltra, we build turnkey solutions for large and smaller clients such as Daikin, Engie, Novy, Quality Guard, Powerdale, to name a few. We always use a design-first approach: don't just go and build what the clients asks for. Instead, as digital innovation experts, we work together with our client to find the best possible user experience. We do this (and soon you will too) through design research, wireframing, prototyping and workshops. By inspiring our customers with our vision, experience, and concepts, we end up with solutions that exceed expectations time after time.

As a designer, you are co-responsible for the concept and strategy to go from a specific question to a customer-centric solution. You remain involved in the development, launch and maturity of each project. We aim to build a long-term partnership with our customers. Only then can we maximize our impact and have an engaged customer who, together with us, takes ownership of the project.

the checks in the box

  • You have at least 5 years’ experience in digital product design and/or UX-design.
  • You are passionate about the interaction between man and technology
  • You have experience in analyzing flows and processes (through interview, observation, workshops, etc...).
  • You master your favorite design tools, whatever they are (Sketch, Figma, Framer, XD,...).
  • You can turn your ideas into tangible and inspiring concepts and prototypes.
  • You have great empathy, both towards end users as towards your team and can reconcile the two
  • You feel comfortable presenting your concepts to both Dutch and English-speaking customers.
